OcNOS 6.6.0 GA
OcNOS 6.6.0 became generally available on February 28, 2025. On OcNOS SP it adds IS-IS Segment Routing Flexible Algorithm (RFC 9350) with traffic steering, BGP auto-discovery for LDP-signaled VPLS (RFC 6074), Ethernet linear protection (ITU-T G.8031) and Y.1564 service activation testing. On OcNOS SP and DC it adds gNMI Get, TLS and in-band VRF operation for streaming telemetry. Under the OcNOS life cycle, 6.6.0 is on sale until February 28, 2028 and supported until February 28, 2030. Maintenance release 6.6.1 followed on July 7, 2025.

IS-IS SR Flexible Algorithm (RFC 9350) and traffic steering for Flex-Algo.
Layer 2 VPN (OcNOS SP)
BGP auto-discovery for LDP-signaled VPLS (RFC 6074), MLAG active/standby for VPLS, VPLS MAC withdrawal, MAC move protection for VPLS and H-VPLS, and per-subinterface MAC limits for VPLS and EVPN services.
Carrier Ethernet (OcNOS SP)
Ethernet linear protection (ITU-T G.8031) over cross-connects and LAG interfaces, ERPS manual switch, Y.1564 service activation testing (color-blind and color-aware) and EVPN link loss forwarding.
Streaming telemetry (OcNOS SP and DC)
gNMI Get RPC, wildcard key names in sensor paths, TLS connections, and in-band operation in one or more VRFs.
Routing (OcNOS SP and DC)
BGP auto soft clear (RFC 2918) and recursive next-hop resolution for VRF static routes.
Monitoring and control plane
ERSPAN, including on VXLAN access ports, on OcNOS DC, and configurable CoPP on OcNOS SP.
