Can I buy OcNOS directly from IP Infusion?
Yes. IP Infusion sells through a global network of resellers, distributors, and system integrators, and can also supply a complete system with validated hardware, optics, and unified support on a single purchase order. Is there a free trial?
Yes. A free OcNOS evaluation VM runs on EVE-NG, GNS3, VirtualBox, vSphere, or KVM, with the full CLI and real protocol stacks. No hardware and no credit card are required.
How do I find a reseller or distributor near me?
The IP Infusion partner directory lists resellers, distributors, and system integrators by region. If you do not see a match for your country, contact IP Infusion and the team will connect you with the right partner.
Does IP Infusion supply the hardware and optics too, or only the software?
All three. IP Infusion sells the OcNOS software license, validated open hardware from vendors such as Edgecore, UfiSpace, and Celestica, and the optics, including coherent 100G and 400G ZR and ZR+ for DCI and IPoDWDM. Taken as a complete system they ship on one purchase order under one support contract, so there is no software versus hardware blame loop.
What do I need to provide to get a quote?
The hardware platform and port count you intend to deploy, or ask the team to recommend one. The features and protocols you need, which set the OcNOS license tier. The optics reach and rate. The number of units, and the support term you want. With those in hand IP Infusion returns a specific quote.
How much does OcNOS cost?
OcNOS is licensed per platform on a capacity and feature-tier basis, so the price depends on the switch or router, the license tier your features require, the optics, the unit count, and the support term.
