Buying Options

Four ways to buy OcNOS

Pick the route that fits how you buy. Every route leads to the same OcNOS, on the same validated hardware, with the same support behind it.

01

Through a partner

Buy through an IP Infusion reseller, distributor, or system integrator for regional availability, local stock, and integration services. This is the most common route.

02

A complete pre-integrated system

Take the router or switch with OcNOS, optics, and support already integrated and shipped by IP Infusion on one purchase order. Ready to rack.

Software, hardware, and optics from one vendor

IP Infusion supplies all three parts of an open network and stands behind them together. That is what makes buying simple: one purchase order, one support contract, and no software versus hardware blame loop when you need help.

OcNOS-SP routing or OcNOS-DC data center and AI fabric
Capacity and feature-tier licensing

Hardware RMA covered under one contract

Optics

Grey and coherent optics matched to the platform, with proven interop from multiple vendors.

100G and 400G ZR and ZR+ coherent for DCI
IPoDWDM, IP and optical on one router
Proven interop from multiple optics vendors

One PO, one SLA, one vendor. See OcNOS Systems for the platform and program detail →

Which License

Pick the family, then the tier

OcNOS licenses in two families. Choose the one that matches your role, then the tier that unlocks the features you need. The team confirms the exact tier when you request a quote.

For service providers

OcNOS-SP

Service provider routing, from L2 and L3 aggregation up through SR-MPLS core, 5G cell-site routing, and 400G IPoDWDM transport. The tier ladder climbs with the features you switch on.

FAQ

Buying OcNOS: frequently asked questions

How do I buy OcNOS?
There are three routes. Buy through an IP Infusion partner (reseller, distributor, or system integrator) for regional availability and local support. Take a complete pre-integrated system, where the hardware, OcNOS, optics, and support ship together on one purchase order. Or contact IP Infusion directly and the team will route you to the right path for your region and scope a quote. You can also download a free OcNOS VM and validate the features you need before you commit.
Can I buy OcNOS directly from IP Infusion?
Yes. IP Infusion sells through a global network of resellers, distributors, and system integrators, and can also supply a complete system with validated hardware, optics, and unified support on a single purchase order. Contact the team and they will point you to the reseller or path that fits your region.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. A free OcNOS evaluation VM runs on EVE-NG, GNS3, VirtualBox, vSphere, or KVM, with the full CLI and real protocol stacks. No hardware and no credit card are required.
How do I find a reseller or distributor near me?
The IP Infusion partner directory lists resellers, distributors, and system integrators by region. If you do not see a match for your country, contact IP Infusion and the team will connect you with the right partner.
Does IP Infusion supply the hardware and optics too, or only the software?
All three. IP Infusion sells the OcNOS software license, validated open hardware from vendors such as Edgecore, UfiSpace, and Celestica, and the optics, including coherent 100G and 400G ZR and ZR+ for DCI and IPoDWDM. Taken as a complete system they ship on one purchase order under one support contract, so there is no software versus hardware blame loop.
What do I need to provide to get a quote?
The hardware platform and port count you intend to deploy, or ask the team to recommend one. The features and protocols you need, which set the OcNOS license tier. The optics reach and rate. The number of units, and the support term you want. With those in hand IP Infusion returns a specific quote.
How much does OcNOS cost?
OcNOS is licensed per platform on a capacity and feature-tier basis, so the price depends on the switch or router, the license tier your features require, the optics, the unit count, and the support term. There is no single list price. Send the team those details and they return a specific number. The evaluation VM is free.
