Broadlinc, a Kentucky-based ISP serving rural communities, selected IP Infusion’s OcNOS Service Provider MPLS software running on UfiSpace hardware for a new fixed wireless deployment. Working with longtime partner RocNet, Broadlinc adopted a network disaggregation approach to deliver cost-effective, high-performance broadband to underserved areas as part of a grant-funded project.
The Challenge
Broadlinc needed a routing platform for its fixed wireless build-out that was more durable than the WISP-focused gear it had been using, yet less expensive than the systems typically sold to larger carriers.
