To Break Free from Traditional Networking, IP Infusion Partners with Net Plan IT to Deliver 5G Networks for Portugal’s ISPs

Partnership provides disaggregated networking solutions

SANTA CLARA, Calif., November 2, 2021IP Infusion, a leading provider of network disaggregation solutions for telecom and data communications operators, today announced a partnership with Net Plan IT, a provider of mobile and Internet telecommunications solutions, based in Portugal, to deliver best-of-breed disaggregated networking platforms to Internet Service Providers in preparation for 5G services. Net Plan IT will integrate IP Infusion’s OcNOS® network operating system to its disaggregated networking portfolio and offer service providers an alternative to traditional legacy network vendors.

The partnership aims to expand the customer base within Portugal’s Altnet community as well as Africa, mainly PALOPs and Brazil. The Altnet community, a growing sector of independent digital infrastructure providers, are working together to create cohesive interconnected next generation networks. These network operators are challenging the traditional networking approaches with disaggregated networking which enable them to achieve unprecedented agility, choice and drive down the cost of their infrastructure.
