IP Infusion and Teja Technologies to Demonstrate
Complete IP Routing Solution for Intel® Network Processors at SUPERCOMM
2002
San Jose, Calif., June 3, 2002 IP Infusion, a leading provider
of intelligent network software for enhanced IP services, and Teja
Technologies Inc., a leading supplier of network processor software,
today announced that they will showcase a fully functional, high-performance
router solution at SUPERCOMM 2002 exhibition and conference being
held June 4-6, 2002 in Atlanta, GA.
Teja and IP Infusion created this joint demonstration by combining
the Teja NP IPv4 Forwarding Foundation Application, a complete RFC
1812-compliant IP forwarding application, with IP Infusion's ZebOS
Advanced Routing Suite (ARS), a complete software implementation
of a virtual router that includes the IPv4 OSPF, BGP and RIP protocols.
ARS integrates with the control plane via Teja's Network Processing
Operating System (NPOS) IPv4 Services API for management of connections,
interfaces, route updates, exceptions and statistics. Teja's forwarding
application is unique in that it achieves 2 Gbps wirespeed performance
on an Intel® IXP1200 network processor using only three and
a half of the network processor's six microengines, leaving plenty
of headroom for the OEM's custom functionality.
The two components of the joint routing solution are available
today from their respective companies. Interested parties can read
more, including detailed application notes, on both websites at
www.teja.com and
www.ipinfusion.com.
Attendees of SUPERCOMM 2002 can view a live demonstration in Intel's
booth # 30655.
