IP Infusion Elects David J. Blumberg And Christopher J. Hadsell To Its Board of Directors
June 30, 2004, San Jose, California - IP Infusion, a leading provider of intelligent network software for enhanced IP services platforms, announced today that David J. Blumberg, Managing Partner of Blumberg Capital, and Christopher J. Hadsell, General Partner of Cardinal Venture Partners, have been appointed to the company’s board of directors. Both Blumberg Capital and Cardinal Venture Partners have been active with the company as key investors in IP Infusion’s last round of financing completed in 2002.

David J. Blumberg is Managing Partner of Blumberg Capital, a San Francisco-based, classic, early-stage venture capital firm investing in emerging technology companies addressing enterprise security and software infrastructure markets. David is a veteran technology investor with over 21 years of experience at Claridge Investments, Adler & Company, APAX and T.Rowe Price, as well as an early operational role launching Check Point Software. Blumberg earned his AB in Government, cum laude from Harvard College and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and INSEAD.
Chris Hadsell is a member of the founding team at Cardinal Venture Partners (CVP) and is a General Partner at the firm. CVP provides venture capital to early-stage technology companies. CVP’s experience as investors, entrepreneurs, and operating managers in high-growth companies positions it to provide entrepreneurs with strategic counsel, financial resources, recruiting, and business development contacts. Before CVP, Hadsell was CFO at Benchmark Capital and was Associate and CFO at Alpha Partners. Prior to venture capital, Hadsell held finance, sales, marketing, and business development roles with Symphony Medical, CooperVision, and Cooper Laboratories. Hadsell received his B.A. in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley and his M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley and London School of Business.
