IP INFusion Names Jack Corrie To The Board Of Directors

SAN JOSE, Calif. January 21, 2003 - IP Infusion, a leading provider of intelligent network software for enhanced IP services, announced today that Jack Corrie has joined its Board of Directors. As a seasoned technology executive with 20 years in the industry and having spent the last 14 years serving in the capacity of Chief Information Officer/Chief Technology Officer, and Senior Technology Executive for the State of California, Corrie brings to IP Infusion deep experience in management and information technology.

As the current CIO for the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS), Corrie is responsible for strategic, business, and information systems planning, as well as the day-to-day operations of a self-contained Data Center and Applications Development and Maintenance operation. Corrie was recently (August 2002) named by CIO magazine as one of the top 100 CIOs and was selected as the CIO of the Year (2002) by Oracle Corporation. In addition, he received the (2002) "Best of California Leadership Award" from the Center for Digital Government. Prior to his assignment at CalPERS, Corrie was the Chief of Technology, CIO/CTO, and a Senior Executive responsible for technology for the California Department of Corrections (CDC).

Corrie is a Board Member and past Chairman of the Government Technology Conference Advisory Board as well as sits on the board of directors for a number of educational, private, and public corporate boards providing organizational governance and insight into the technology industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management, a Masters in Business Administration, a project management certificate from the California Institute of Technology, and a Masters in Technology Project Management from George Washington University School of Business and Public Management.
